I love the idea of this page visually. He’s coming out of the fog of whatever just happened and his reflection in the pool of blood is a monster. Also, he literally has blood on his hands now. Quite the wake up call. This was much more grim than I had originally intended. This comic will never show any nudity or contain any swearing, but there are times in some stories where the main characters are put through the ringer. Marty’s worst fear is confrontation and conflict. As a story teller, taking that to an extreme is a good way to test the character and see what he does when confronted with lots of conflict. Will he rise to the challenge or will he cower and hide? What if hiding isn’t possible, you know, for a 5 foot tall bug…
